Symptoms of Anxiety and Controlling the Fear with Breathing



Sadly for a great number suffering from anxiety disorders they are severe, prolonged and interfere with everyday activities. Such anxieties include phobias such as agoraphobia and sudden unexpected panic and anxiety attacks.

Anxiety disorders are steadily rising. According to “The Economic Burden of Anxiety Disorders,” a study commissioned by the ADAA and published in The Journal of Clinical Psychiatry (Volume 60, Number 7, July, 1999), anxiety disorders accounted for nearly one-third of the nation’s mental health bill, or $42 billion a year.



Separation anxiety



An important part of anxiety treatment for children to help both their physical and emotional well-being is to give them a balanced diet, which does not contain any chemicals or additives. It is also important to help them address their fearful beliefs when the child is calm because an anxious mind will not absorb any information

It is not always easy to distinguish anxiety disorders known as neurosis, from psychosis, as found in serious mental health illnesses like schizophrenia and bipolar. Sometimes doctors are inclined to just write a prescription for anxiety drugs – an anti-depressant, sleeping pill, or minor tranquillizer, but drugs are only a chemical fix
