What books should I read after reading Harry Potter and the Twilight series?

Loved the Harry Potter books and the Twilight series by Meyer. I’ve also read The Da Vinci Code and enjoyed that. If someone can give me suggestions that are similar reads to these books and are more for late teens/early 20′s readers I’d appreciate it.

Well, I would read Vampire Academy and The blue blood series. The keisha’ra series and maybe House of Night series considering that you liked Twilight. Hope that I helped!
His Dark Materials, if you’re looking for something more serious.
Keep in mind that you may or may not like what others do but here are my suggestions. ^_^ I found these to be greatly enjoyable each in their own way.
1) Maximum ride
2) Inkheart/spell/death
3) Artemis Fowl (more of a fantasy for young teens but I still enjoyed it)
4) His Dark Materials (O.o The concept of killing god was a bit… wrong… but it was still a good read.)
